Can you walk from the Shades of Green resort to the Polynesian Resort?

Hi there, Brian, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've come back to visit our 'Ohana with this great question! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort will be here in just a couple of short weeks. Are your suitcases ready to go yet?

Brian, first of all, I'd love to thank you for your service to our country. I've heard that Walt Disney himself was very patriotic and an admirer of the U.S. Armed Forces and of many aspects of our country's history. My planDisney pals Lizzie and Melissa and I love visiting the Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom Park and listening to the moving performances by the Voices of Liberty in the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT. If you haven't visited these attractions, I highly recommend them!

It sounds like you're hoping to get your steps in with a walk from Shades of Green to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. At this time, the walkway is not available. Happily, you're welcome to take the bus from Shades of Green to the Transportation & Ticket Center, and board the Resort Monorail for convenient access to the Polynesian. If you need any recommendations on how to get from Shades of Green to another destination, there are helpful tips on this website.

Brian, please stop back by planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have. We are here and always happy to help our fellow guests!

    See you real soon!
