Howdy Deborah!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for sharing your question with us!
I am so excited for you! It looks like you will be at the place “Where Dreams Come True” in just over a week! You are going to have an amazing time visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many exciting things to do and see right now!
One of the new exciting things is the walkway from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the Magic Kingdom Park! I have not had a chance to explore this new path along the
Seven Seas Lagoon, but I did a little research. The walking path from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on your pace and starting point at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. From Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the Magic Kingdom Park, it is an additional 10 to 15 minutes. So, taking the path from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to the Magic Kingdom is between 20 and 30 minutes. The distance should be just under a mile and a half. Since you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort when the weather is a bit cooler, I know this path will be an enjoyable stroll to the Magic Kingdom Park!
You are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at the perfect time! The Walt Disney World Resort is doing an amazing job keeping all guests safe! They have implemented minimal person to person contact and physical distancing. To assist with the safety measures, all guests are strongly encouraged to use the
Mobile Food Ordering option on your My Disney Experience. With Mobile Food Ordering, you will be able to order your meal, modify it, and pay all from your smartphone! I love this option because it allows you more time to relax, and no one has to wait in line!
You are going to have an amazing vacation! If you have any questions before you leave or even while you are at the Walt Disney World Resort, please return to planDisney! We look forward to helping you again, Deborah! Wave hi to Mickey from all of us at planDisney!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
