When you walk in front of the magic kingdom after you do your tickets, if you look down theres peoples names put in the ground...where can i find info about this....i would like to do it for my grandmother.

    Hi Katy,

You are such a wonderful Granddaughter to want to do something special for your Grandmother!

The Walk Around the World Bricks were available some years ago to commemorate trips to Walt Disney World or some sort of special occasion. My husband got one for us in 1998 before we were engaged. He had a big elaborate engagement planned and wanted to prove his love and commitment before it happened.  He knew my love of Disney and thought that would be a great way to show it.   I love it - it makes me feel like a little part of me is always at WDW!

Unfortunately, the bricks are no longer available.   Although many of them are becoming very worn (especially those leading down from the Monorail Station in front of the Magic Kingdom), I haven't heard of any plans to refurbish or replace them at this time.

Wishing you magical memories :-) Allison
