    Can you walk from Animal Kingdom hotel to the Animal kingdom park?

    Hey there, Richard. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. There are beautiful views everywhere you turn of 4 different savannas with more than 200 animals that call it home. There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning, enjoying your cup of coffee and seeing a giraffe from your balcony. This resort is everything people claim it to be. However, you aren't able to walk from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at this time but it's just a short bus ride away.

    If you are wanting to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you are able to walk to a Theme Park from, I suggest checking out Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort or Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort are just a short walk over to Epcot and just a short boat ride or about a 20 minute walk over to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's BoardWalk Inn is closer to Disney's Hollywood Studios than Epcot but it's pretty close to both and there are walking paths to get you there. Out of the three, Disney's Beach Club Resort is my personal favorite but they are all great.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
