Greetings Kenneth and welcome to planDisney!
Your plans for a split stay with the start at the
Waldorf Astoria Orlando sound absolutely amazing! The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, designed by architect Rees Jones, is on many golfer's bucket lists!
Kenneth, while the Waldorf Astoria is an Official Walt Disney World Hotel, after talking with a friendly Cast Member at the resort, I was told that they do not offer the luggage transfer service that you would get if you were staying at multiple Disney Resort Collection hotels. You will have to transport your luggage to the second location on your split stay once your stay at the Waldorf Astoria has finished.
With the Waldorf Astoria being so close to most of the Disney Resort Collection hotels, it wouldn’t be too far of a trip if you decided to select a rideshare to your second resort. I would recommend a
Minnie Van for a little pixie dust and to really kick off the second part of your magical journey! I had a chance to ride in a Minnie Van on my last trip and the conversation I had with the Cast Member about our love for Star Wars made for a memorable ride!
Kenneth, I would also recommend that you look into joining Mickey and Minnie at the Magic Kingdom for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party while you are visiting in November. The sights and sounds of the holiday on Main Street U.S.A. while celebrating with Mickey and his friends is one of my favorite additional ticket opportunities. The dates for the 2026 parties have not been released yet but keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for information on when those merry days will be announced.
Kenneth, have a magical trip, and enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
Kurt
