Hi Rachel!
Welcome back to planDisney! I agree with your FANTASTic choice to seek out a Concierge booking for your next Disney cruise. It’s definitely on my bucket list and something I have DREAMed about for a long time! It would be absolutely MAGICal to have all that space. Concierge Guests enjoy many WONDERful perks like priority check-in and boarding, exclusive onboard events, and that stunning Concierge Lounge that will make you feel like VIP’s of Captain Mickey himself.
Sorry that finding Concierge availability has been tricky for the sailing you are considering. What you could do is book a stateroom and then ask to be placed on the Concierge waiting list. Once you are on the waitlist, you'll be called with upgrade information if a suite opens up. Guests do cancel or change reservations all the time, so there's a chance one could become available. Each ship has its own link for Concierge details, so check the one that applies to your desired ship, whether it be the
Disney Magic,
Disney Wonder,
Disney Dream,
Disney Fantasy, or the
Disney Wish.
Thinking positively, when your name comes up on the waitlist, either you or your Travel Agent (if you have one) are contacted. At that time, you will find out the available Concierge stateroom/suite and cost. Typically, you have only about 24 hours to decide if you’d like to switch to Concierge. If not, then Disney Cruise Line will move to the next person on the list.
That said, I would also encourage you to keep checking the
Disney Cruise Line website as you might stumble on a Concierge stateroom sooner than you would be contacted by Disney Cruise Line. So I’m saying be proactive by checking frequently AND also express your interest in the waitlist. Hopefully one of these will pan out and you will have the full Concierge experience on your next adventure at sea!
Rachel, sending you pixie dust that you are able to find availability or have luck with waitlisting. Please let us know if we can assist you further with your plans!
Happy Sailing!
