Waitlist for space 220 for March 14 March 15

Hey Howdy Hey Mary and welcome to planDisney!

Space 220 is truly an out-of-this-world experience that I am sure you will love! I was fortunate enough to have this experience on our last trip and being able to dine amongst the stars was enhanced by the fantastic food and drink offerings. Considering that it still is a newer restaurant in EPCOT, these reservations to board the elevator to space are still tough to get. Not to worry though, I do have some tips for you so hopefully, you can score your boarding pass to be one of our next space dinners for your upcoming trip.

If you have not been able to log onto your My Disney Experience account and check for dining reservations yet, that is where I would start. There are two experiences that you can try for the standard Space 220 Restaurant experience as well as reservations at the Space 220 Lounge. The lounge of course would not have access to the full menu, but still a great experience, with great views of the cosmos as well as tasty appetizers and drink options. When you are on the pages to check for availability, I have always had better luck selecting specific times rather than a general "lunch" time which you are prompted for a time. Make sure to check on these a couple of times per day, every day, as these reservations might open up and disappear quickly.

On your days in EPCOT, if the reservation option does not work out for you, you can always try and join the walk-up list. Stop by the maitre d' and they can give you an approximate time of the wait and you have an option to wait in line to have this great experience. You might have better luck doing this during off times to eat such as with lunch at 3:00 p.m. as the dining room might be less busy compared to during peak meal times.

Good luck navigating these tricky reservations and I hope you can experience this phenomenal opportunity. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
