Hiya Ashley!
Thanks for sailing back to planDisney!
I am loving all the sneak peeks of the newest ship on the way to the Disney Cruise Line fleet...the Disney Treasure! I hope you'll be able to enjoy an amazing adventure.
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab are incredible spaces for kids to imagine, play, and create. Currently,
reservations are not required for kids to participate, so you don't need to worry about spots in those areas filling up. Whew! You can either pre-register kids for the clubs online before you set sail or visit the clubs on embarkation day to fill out some paperwork and get everything in ship shape. I also really enjoy visiting these areas during the open house on embarkation day, so I can see all the fun things my kids will get to do (I'm only a little jealous...) and meet the Cast Members who will be spending time with them during our cruise.
One of my favorite ways to help my kids get ready for a cruise is the
My Disney Cruise Adventure booklet. It hasn't been updated to include the Disney Treasure just yet, but I bet it will be soon! Most of the booklet is very flexible and can totally be used for a cruise on the Disney Treasure as it is today. It's a really cute way to help kids learn a little bit about cruising, go over some good safety information, and get excited about sailing away!
The Disney Treasure is sure to deliver daring adventures and exciting escapes, Ashley! Please let us know if there are other questions we can answer as you plot your course!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
