Do you have a waitlist for restaurants with no reservations available inside the Magic Kingdom park?

    Hello, Matthew!

Welcome to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to see a fellow Buckeye planning a magical trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Can you believe it that in less than 2 weeks you will be enjoying the 50th Anniversary Celebration? There are so many new experiences created just for the World’s Most Magical Celebration. Disney’s Enchantment is the new nighttime spectacular shown nightly in the Magic Kingdom (subject to change). This extravaganza combines fireworks, lasers, castle projections, and a brand new soundtrack. This is the perfect way to end a day in the Magic Kingdom celebrating its golden anniversary.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting an Advanced Dining Reservation for your favorite restaurants in the Magic Kingdom. To be honest some of the best dining table-service restaurants in Walt Disney World are in the Magic Kingdom. Liberty Tree Tavern and The Diamond Horseshoe are at the top of my list. Their menus have something that will satisfy even the pickiest eaters in my family.

Guests’ plans are always changing and someone may have canceled their plans, allowing you to possibly grab a last-minute reservation. I recommend that you keep checking back daily because something may open up that works in your schedule. In the event that you still have not secured a reservation, you can use a feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app that would allow you to join a restaurant’s Mobile Dining Walk-Up List. All the table service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom have the capability to add Guests to their walk-up list, provided they have availability. You can check a restaurant’s availability in the mobile app when you arrive in the Magic Kingdom, by tapping the + sign at the bottom of the page and selecting Check Dining Availability. Select your party size, be sure to account for everyone, including children under 3. Select the date you are there and choose Now. You will see a list of restaurants to choose from. Pick the one you want and you will receive a notification when your table is ready. Remember, walk-up list dining is based on the remaining availability of the restaurant. If there is no availability showing in the app, you can always ask the Cast Member at the check-in podium, if you can be added to the walk-up list.

I am wishing you all the fun and magic on your trip.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
