Is there a waitlist or any other way to obtain tickets for Mickey's Halloween party on October 27? I had no idea they would be sold out and missed the boat. :(

Boo to you, Lisa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This special event welcomes happy haunts for a night of entertainment, thrills, and treats that will leave you smiling as much as a grim-grinning ghost!

Lisa, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a popular special event, and tickets do usually sell out. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to purchase your tickets before your event date sold out, and while there is no guarantee you'll be able to find tickets, I have a few suggestions for you that might help your tickets materialize.

Your best option is to inquire in person on the day of the party at the Guest Relations window outside of Magic Kingdom Park. Sometimes guests may change their party date or cancel their plans to attend, leaving some ticket availability. Another option is to call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number to inquire if there is any ticket inventory available.

Lisa, if you aren't able to secure tickets to this popular event, you can still find ways to celebrate spooky season at Walt Disney World Resort during your visit. Here are a few of my favorite ways to get into the spirit of the season:
    • Visit Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar in Disney Springs for special, limited-time Halloween menu items and to see the Halloween decorations overlay!
    • Stop by the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs to take some pictures in Mickey's Pumpkin Patch.
    • Catch the Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks from outside of Magic Kingdom (some great viewing spots are at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa).
    • Dine with some characters at Hollywood and Vine, where Minnie has invited her friends to come in costume for Minnie's Holiday Dine event!
    • Sample some of the delicious Halloween treats all over Disney property; it's almost scary how many there are to choose from!
Lisa, I hope this helps, and I am sending lots of sympathetic vibrations to somewhere beyond in hopes that you'll get your party tickets! If you have any other questions, come see us again here at planDisney!

    Stay Spooky,
    Alison
