Hi, we're waiting for vacation packages to come out for WDW April 2020, but just wondered whether the self-contained villas (we're looking at the Villas at Grand Floridian - but not the club villas) are excluded from the packages? Thanks so much!

    Greetings to you, Erin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m more than happy to help with your question as you anxiously await prices for next year to come out. I know you are ready to get your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned!

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are absolutely amazing, so I know you would have an extra magical stay there! You would be just a hop, skip and a jump from Magic Kingdom Park which means you could actually watch the evening fireworks right from your resort room. Plus you’ll have all of the comforts of home with either a kitchenette or a full-size kitchen depending on which villa you choose. Depending on availability, you should find that these villas are included in most packages offered. Just keep in mind that since this is a Disney Vacation Club property, many Members book well in advance in order to secure a villa at this amazing resort. Anyone can make a reservation, but the remaining villas often fill up rather quickly. So keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcement about package prices for next year and be ready to make your reservation as soon as those prices are available.

Please let us know if we can do anything else to assist you with your vacation planning. We’re always here if you need us. Have a magical day!
