Hello! I have been waiting to book an appt. at BB Boutique for my child since I learned it would reopen in Aug. I got online on 8/11 to book an appt. for October and there was already no availability. Any tips on how to obtain an Oct. appt.? Thank you!

    Hi Kyndra! Welcome to planDisney.

I know that many princesses and princes have been eagerly awaiting the royal transformations to return to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Fairy Godmother's Apprentices have been hard at work sprucing up the place and sprinkling extra pixie dust for its grand reopening on August 25th. With all this anticipation, I know that reservations within the 60-day window went very quickly. I'm so sorry to hear you're having trouble finding a spot. I know what a special experience this is and how much we parents want to make some magic for our Mouseketeers!

My very best advice is to keep checking. Time to roll up your sleeves and grab on to some faith, trust, and pixie-dusted patience. Reservations for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be canceled up until 24 hours ahead of an appointment. If there's one thing I know about Disneyland Guests, it's that their plans are always changing, so sometimes reservations for coveted dining locations or experiences do open up! If it were me, I would probably have my computer open to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique page while I was working, refresh it a few times a day, and be ready with some fast fingers if a reservation comes through. If you still have no luck ahead of your park day, you can always make your way over to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique when the park opens and ask if there happen to be any openings or cancellations for the day. This is, of course, not a guarantee, but it never hurts to ask and Cast Members do try to work their magic if they can!

When my daughter was two and too young for her own appointment, we did a DIY Bibbidi Bobbidi experience which had her feeling every bit like a princess! We went to the boutique, she picked out a dress and all the accessories and did a quick change in the nearby restroom. You can ask for a touch of pixie dust from Fairy Godmother's Apprentices even if you don't have an appointment! She was walking around the park like royalty for the rest of the day!

Kyndra, be sure to schedule in some time at Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire just to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle for your little one to meet some of their favorite princesses! I remember my daughter dressed head to toe as Sleeping Beauty and meeting Aurora herself - it was a moment I will never forget!
