Hi, dear Amber!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope we can help you make the most of your
Christmasy trip!
Since Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is sold out for the night of November 8, you can also try to rearrange your plans to
attend the party on November 11. It's not sold out
yet, and it's going to be as magical as the first night of the party!
If you're not able to join the festivities on November 11, you can still visit
Magic Kingdom Park on November 8. Visiting the Theme Park before the party starts is an excellent plan because you'll be able to watch Queen Elsa light Cinderella Castle right before it closes for the event.
If you have a
Ticket with Park Hopper Option, I'd suggest then taking a
Minnie Van to
Disney's Hollywood Studios to watch the fantastic
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks spectacle. You can also enhance this night with a
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party. It's filled with delicious holiday treats that will keep you in a
very merry mood!
My sweet (and Christmas-obsessed) friend
Jessica loves to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios during the holidays, mainly because
it snows on Sunset Boulevard as the
Sunset Seasons Greetings take over The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror!
If you'd rather visit only one Theme Park on November 8, you can also plan to watch the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show from
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can do so by
making a dining reservation, and it's also a great idea to end your night!
Finally, one of the greatest things about staying at a Disney Resort hotel is to have access to the extraordinary work done by
Disney Floral & Gifts. Their talented artists build beautiful Christmas trees to make your holiday celebrations even more magical. The
Mickey Christmas Tree is loaded with awesome gifts and will surely be an incredible surprise to your kids as they arrive for your vacation!
I hope that you and your kids enjoy the beginning of the
most wonderful time of the yEAR at the Walt Disney World Resort, Amber!
If more questions pop up, please, come back. Think of us as Mickey's Helpful Elves!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
