I've waited too late to make reservations for a character dining experience...all the times are booked. Do you have any other recommendations on fun places to eat with children? The girls are 7 and 2.

    Hi Jennifer,

There are a lot of fun places to dine at Walt Disney World that don't include characters!  I've included links to a few of them:
    • T-Rex in Downtown Disney
    • Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom

Also, if you keep trying with your character dining reservations, you may get lucky.  People often change their reservations at the last minute, and you never know when something may open up.  Good luck!

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
