Do I have to wait until epackage is available to link Magicbands to my Disney account?

Hi Ashley! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

MagicBand+ brings hands-free scanning into the parks and Lightning Lane Entrances with Disney's Genie+ Service. Plus, it offers an immersive Guest experience. Your bands will light up and buzz along with Entertainment and select Attractions. We loved having our bands with us on our most recent trip to the parks. They definitely enhanced our experience.

Since I recently linked my family's MagicBand+ bands to my Disneyland account, I'm happy to walk you through the process. There are just a few things to remember to do before you attempt to pair. If you haven't yet downloaded the Disneyland mobile app do so before you begin, and be sure the mobile app is updated to the most recent version available. You'll also want to fully charge your bands before linking. This is the most important step!

Once your bands are charged and the mobile app is downloaded and updated, open the app. Find and tap the three-bar menu at the bottom right side of the page. On the next page, scroll down until you see the "MagicBand+" link and tap to begin. Onscreen prompts will walk you through pairing your band to your account.

If you don't have your admission tickets because you're awaiting their delivery, you can assign the band to a ticket later. When you're ready, tap the "MagicBand+" link again, which brings up a list of all the bands you've linked. Tap the "+" below a band to assign a ticket to the band. Even without a ticket to assign, however, you can complete the previous steps.

If you encounter difficulties pairing, I suggest you turn your mobile device off and on again. I had to do this with one of my band pairings. If that doesn't do the trick, a factory reset of your band might be necessary. Finally, if you still have trouble pairing your device, check that the name on the ticket isn't causing the problem by calling the Tickets phone line. And if you arrive and haven't paired your band successfully, drop by a Guest Services location for Cast Member assistance. They're always happy to help!

You're visiting during my favorite time of year, Season of the Force. Be sure to ride Hyperspace Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. It's my favorite Attraction overlay of all time.

    I hope this helps!
