What are the wait times like for the Disney Visa Cardholders character meet and greets?

    Hello, Katie!

There are several magical perks of being a Disney Rewards Visa Cardmember. The private character encounters exclusively offered to Cardmembers happens to be my favorite Walt Disney World Resort perk. In my experience, wait times for these events can vary depending on crowd levels and the time of day you plan to visit. On a recent visit, I spent about 30 minutes one afternoon waiting to enter the Star Wars Imperial Meet 'N' Greet while this time last year I only had a 5-minute wait before entering the Epcot Character Meet ‘N’ Greet early one evening. Cast Members do an excellent job to help keep the wait times manageable but also allow you plenty of time to interact with characters without feeling rushed.

Currently, there are two locations at Cardmembers to have exclusive character encounters. The Epcot Character Meet ‘N’ Greet is offered daily from 1 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Inventions West in Future World and the Star Wars™ Imperial Meet ‘N’ Greet is also held daily from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. daily at Star Wars Launch Bay in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Be sure to bring your Disney Visa card with you, as you will be required to present it to gain access to the private meeting area. You will also receive a special card with a code that allows you to download the PhotoPass photos taken during your experience.

I hope this helps, and you enjoy this exclusive Cardmember benefit. Please visit us again should you have other questions about your upcoming visit.
