How does the wait times app work. What does submit mean. Are we saying we will be there.

Hi, Anita, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. We're always here to help you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

It sounds like you might be trying to make FastPass+ selections for your visit in May. I'll walk you through that process here, but if you were asking something different, please come back and ask another question. We want to make sure to get you the information you're looking for.

Ok, here we go! Disney's FastPass+ allows you to reserve a time for up to three select attractions per day in advance. Since you're coming in May, you're already within your advance planning window, so you can make your selections now! You can do this in your My Disney Experience account on a computer, or in the My Disney Experience mobile app. For now, we'll go over steps for the app. Touch the "+" symbol at the bottom of the screen, then go to "Get FastPass+." Choose your party, then the date and the Theme Park you're planning to visit. You'll see a number of attractions and times to choose from. Select the ones you want and press confirm, and Ka-CHOW! You've made FastPass+ reservations!

You'll also see Wait Times listed for each Theme Park in the app. This function just lets you know what the current standby wait time is for each attraction. It's helpful when you're in a Theme Park and want to know how long you can expect to wait if you don't have FastPass+ for a given attraction.

Anita, I really hope this was helpful to you. Please do come visit again if you have more questions. We're happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
