We are on a wait list for main seating at dinner (currently booked 2nd as main seating was already full when we booked the cruise). Is there a lot of movement on the wait list? We have two kids (3&5 yrs) and really want to move to the earlier seating.

    Hi Krista,

I can tell you that Disney Cruise Line really tries their best to accommodate everyone's scheduling requests as best they can.  Yes, there is movement on the wait list, but I can't guess how long that list is.  When you arrive onboard, head over to Guest Services and ask in person.  Again, they will try their best.

Personally, I love late seating.  I have it down to a science with my kids.  We have a snack on the pool deck, go get ready for the evening, and see the show.  Once the show is over, we're hungry again, and it's time to go sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal.  There is no rushing to get out of there as there in no dinner seating after that one.  After dinner, we drop the kids off at their youth clubs for a while while my husband and I enjoy some of the adults only clubs.  It works perfectly for my gang.  This also works beautifully on port days.  We don't have to rush back for the early dinner seating.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you a more concrete answer.  I hope my suggestion helps.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.  Have a magical trip!
