Can I wait to download my tickets until it's closer in time for my vacation?

Hello there, Michael, and welcome to planDisney!

Hot Diggity Dog! Do you have a Disneyland Resort Vacation coming up soon?! I'm really excited for you to experience the Happiest Place on Earth next month and see how they've decorated the entire Resort for the Disney100 Celebration!

You won't need your actual ticket until the day of your visit when you scan into the Parks. For Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages, the tickets are added to your account four days before your vacation. However, it is very important that you have a valid ticket and reservation to enter the Parks for the days you are visiting! Even if you have not yet downloaded them, please log in to your Disneyland account (link your tickets if you have not yet done so) and head over to Tickets and Reservation Details and click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations." I wouldn't want you to show up for your vacation without reservations!

Make sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App prior to your visit! It will be super helpful if you want to purchase Genie+ and book Lightning Lanes. For added convenience, I have enjoyed using my MagicBand+ for scanning in and I don't even need to take out my smartphone anymore.

Michael, I hope this was helpful for you. Here's hoping that you have a wonderful and magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please reach out again if there is anything else that we can do for you!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
