If I wait with baby while the other two use their fastpasses, when it's my turn to ride, can we use a rider switch with my fastpass so my husband can ride with me, or will I ride alone since the other two used a fastpass instead of the standby line?

Hi, Ahrianna! This is such a great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us. I am also glad you have discovered the Rider Switch service for families with young children. Walt Disney World Resort definitely does not want to leave out any member of the family while enjoying the magic of the parks, and this option helps families share in many magical moments!

When you approach the entrance to an attraction that does have a height requirement, ask the Cast Member if your party can receive a Rider Switch pass. They will scan your MagicBand or Disney Theme Park Ticket to link the Rider Switch to you. Now, the main guest with the assigned pass can bring up to two other guests with them to enjoy the attraction. Let the Cast Member know as they are assigning the Rider Switch to you that you would like to bring your husband with you and they will also scan his ticket or MagicBand to assign a Rider Switch pass to him. This can be done whether you initially use the standby or FastPass+ queue. Your husband and the other rider will then head into the attraction while you and your little one wait for them. When your assigned return time approaches, you and your husband get to have fun finding adventure together!

I hope this information helps you plan a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
