Welcome back to planDisney, Stephan!
I hope you will find utilizing the mobile check-in through the
My Disney Experience app as smooth and easy as I have on my last couple of visits to the
Walt Disney World Resort. I just recently stayed at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, used mobile check-in, parked my rental car, and headed straight to the park, so you have come to the right place!
All you need to do when arriving at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is to show the Cast Member working at the parking lot entrance your reservation on your My Disney Experience app. After confirming you are a Guest, you can take advantage of the
complimentary overnight self-parking at your resort. There is no need to go to the front desk for a parking tag or pass to remain overnight. Any time you come and go from your resort, you will follow the same process of checking in with the Cast Member, and you can park without issue.
Additionally, I confirmed the following with a Cast Member on your behalf. As a Guest at a Disney hotel, you receive standard theme park parking. On the day of check-in, you can show your reservation confirmation through your My Disney Experience app and drive directly to the park while you wait for your room.
If I could make a suggestion, I would head to your Disney resort, leave your bags with
Bell Services, utilize the
complimentary transportation to the theme park, and not return until your room is ready or you’re finished with all the theme park fun for the evening. While you are gone, the Cast Members of Bell Services will deliver your bags to your room so you can sit back, relax, and prepare to rope drop the next morning’s park!
I hope this helps Stephan! If you have any other questions, visit us at planDisney again!
