Are there wagons available to rent for young kids in the park who are too big for strollers, or do we have to fly our collapsible one with us to use?

    Hiya, Janet!

I’m so excited for your upcoming vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!

The Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer wagon rentals, but, it does have rental strollers, available outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, adjacent to the Kennel. These are single, jogger-style strollers. If you’re looking for a double stroller, I’d recommend contacting City Stroller Rentals, which is an official vendor of the Disneyland Resort. Your stroller rental would be delivered directly to your hotel, or to the airport for pick-up upon arrival. As for the use of wagons, the Disneyland Resort website currently states that “strollers larger than 36” x 52” and wagons are not permitted”. So, though you may see or hear otherwise, official Disneyland Resort policy is that wagons are not permitted.

As a mom of three children ages 7 and under, I understand how important it can be to take breaks. My children and I visit the Disneyland Resort often, and I bring our double stroller so the kids can rotate as needed throughout the day. When any of us are showing signs of fatigue, our go-to plan is a ride along the Disneyland Monorail or Railroad. This is a great way to take in the sights, while also getting a much-needed break. Attractions such as Jungle Cruise and “it’s a small world” are also great options for a weary crowd.

I hope this helps. Wishing you a vacation filled with pixie-dust and Disney magic!
