Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Thinking about how you're going to get around at Walt Disney World Resort takes a bit of advanced planning, and may require a bit of extra work if you have mobility concerns that need to be taken into consideration. I'm here to help, so let's chat about your options and what you can do to make your trip go smoothly!
Melissa, if you are traveling with a child with special needs who would benefit from using a stroller wagon because a conventional stroller is not appropriate for their height and weight, please reach out to
Services for Guests with Disabilities. Stroller wagons are prohibited at Walt Disney World Resort, but case-by-case exceptions are made in select circumstances for medical necessity. It's a good idea to sort this out before you head on vacation so you don't need to stress about your stroller wagon at the gate but, if that's not possible, you will be able to speak to someone at
Guest Relations when you arrive and see if you can be granted a medical tag.
I hope this answers your question, Melissa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
