Hi Nichole! Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending in your question! We love helping Guests make the most of their visit and feel confident as they plan their magical days at Disneyland Resort.
Let’s
stroll right into this great stroller question. In recent years, Disneyland has prohibited wagons, including stroller wagons, from entering the theme parks. The only exception is if it qualifies as a “
Stroller as a Wheelchair” accommodation for a child with medical needs or a disability. If that applies to you, you can request a special tag from Security or Guest Services when you arrive, and approval is decided on a case by case basis. I always recommend checking the
Theme Park Frequently Asked Questions before your visit, since that is the easiest place to find the most current stroller policies,
prohibited items, and helpful tips for a smooth day.
I know this may be disappointing, especially if your kiddo is used to riding in comfort in a wagon, but unless you receive the medical exemption, the wagon will most likely be turned away at the gate. You may want to plan for another option ahead of time so you aren’t left having returning it to your hotel or vehicle.
Nichole, I hope this helps you get prepared for your visit and that you have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth. If any other questions pop up as you plan, come back any time. We are always here to help!
