Hello there, Marylou!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question. I hope you’re enjoying planning your
Disneyland Resort visit and that you’re looking forward to all the magic that awaits you at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted inside the theme parks. However, the resort wants all Guests to have a safe and comfortable visit, so exceptions can be made only if a child has a
disability that necessitates the use of this kind of device. A wagon can be marked as a wheelchair to accommodate a child’s special needs, and these requests are evaluated in person on a case-by-case basis.
If you feel your child may qualify for this accommodation, be sure to chat with a Cast Member from Guest Services after you arrive at the resort to explain why a wagon is necessary for their accessibility needs. If approved, a Cast Member will attach a tag that marks your wagon as a wheelchair for the duration of your visit.
I do recommend having a backup plan just in case you’re not able to use your wagon inside the theme parks.
Rental strollers are available onsite for the day, or you can bring a
stroller from home that is no larger than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long.
I hope this answers your question, Marylou, and that your family’s vacation is filled with pixie-dusted moments! Please feel free to
write back with more questions as your trip draws near.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
