I have vsited WDW some 10 yrs ago. 1st time taking taking a family vac. (Hubby, kids 10,6, &3). Can someone let me know if there is another resort other than All Star Music that can sleep 6 and is closer to Magic Kingdom? By the way MOMS PANEL ROCKS!

Both the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground are located within the Magic Kingdom resort area.  There are a couple of options there for a family of six.  Fort Wilderness offers cabins that include fully-equipped kitchens and other home-style comforts.  They feature a bedroom that includes a double bed and bunk beds.  The living area has a Murphy bed.  There is, of course, a full bathroom as well.  You'll even find a wooden deck complete with picnic table and grill.

If you're looking for something a little more luxurious, you might want to consider a stay at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.   The two-bedroom villas are 1,080 square feet and offer plenty of room for a large family to spread out.  They, too, offer fully equipped kitchens.  The bathroom even features a whirlpool tub that will be nice to soak in and unwind after a long day of touring the parks.

Maybe one of these options will suit your family.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
