Hello Jack,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with such a wonderful question for us to help you with today. I must tell you that as the current
UK-based planDisney Panelist, it's always an added delight when I have the pixie-dusted opportunity of assisting a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom!
Jack, I'm more than happy to share with you, that holidaying with family members who live with hidden, or
cognitive disabilities is made so much more inclusive and accessible with all the various accommodations for
Guests with Disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort.Whilst I don't have any personal experience of using a Virtual Private Network (VPN), I am more than pleased to share that upon arrival within the United States of America, Guests are more than welcome to pre-register (no less than 2 days prior to arrival) via video chat for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
Alternatively, it's my experience that registering in person for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) by stopping by any Disney Theme Park
Guest Relations location, is that the registration process is really super easy to arrange! Upon entering your first Disney Theme Park, simply head directly for Guest Relations where helpful Cast Members will be ready to assist with your request.
Jack, it might be handy for you to know that any Disability Access Service which may be issued, will be good for the remainder of your magical holiday, or for up to a whole 60 days!
I hope that I've been able to provide a little zip-a-dee-doo-dah insight for you today Jack! If you should have any additional questions for me concerning an upcoming holiday to the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to
me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
