Greetings Joel!
Welcome to planDisney! A perfect day at sea and Disney's Hollywood Studios used to involve enjoying Voyage of the Little Mermaid. It was the perfect length and just filled to the brim with amazing sets, our favorite songs, and an impressive Ursula. I sure didn't mind that sweet sweet air-conditioning as well.
Unfortunately, at this time it is not known when Voyage of the Little Mermaid will be returning. Since it closed in 2020, our favorite Princess Ariel has been gracing the marquee of the theater to remind us that she still wants to be where the people are.
I'm sorry I don't have better news for you but don't fret my friend! You can still get your fill of Ariel and the gang throughout the Parks. In Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can
Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents. This is Ariel from the live-action motion picture that came out this year. She is there for a limited time so make sure to visit. You will see art and even some props from the movie. I just had a chance to see the movie with my family and just loved it. My daughter is obsessed. Make sure to try "
Bubbles at Sea" which is a drink inspired by the live-action "The Little Mermaid." It is a tea with fruit flavors topped with boba pearls and a splash of shimmer. It is supposed to be found at multiple locations throughout all the Parks.
If you head over to Magic Kingdom Park you will be able to meet Ariel from the animated story at
Ariel's Grotto. Then head over to see her story come to life in the attraction
Under the Sea- Journey of The Little Mermaid. Dance along with the fish and enjoy her adventure while riding in style in a clam shell. More mermaid-themed snacks can be found nearby at
The Friar's Nook for a limited time so make sure to have a taste of her world and all the magic it contains. Remember, life under the sea is better than anything we got up here. Dive in and find ways to fill the hole that Voyage of the Little Mermaid left behind.
We will get through this absence together and I hope Ariel can return soon to where the people are waiting.
I hope this helped and if you have any more questions feel free to come back!
Life is the bubbles, under the sea. -Nimmy
