    Have vouchers been extended because of the pandemicc

    Hey there, hi there Joe! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. I'm happy to assist a fellow Mouseketeer today!

    The past year and a half sure have been difficult. Thanks to some handy helpers all around the world, and a few useful Mousketools, things seem to be improving. Depending on what kind of vouchers you have in your clubhouse, they might still have some magic left. Let's take a look!

    If you purchased theme park tickets but were not able to use them because your vacation was postponed or canceled, check your My Disney Experience account for new expiration dates. Some tickets were extended until the end of this year. If you open the My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen, a menu will pop up. Choose "Tickets & Passes" and under each theme park ticket, you should see an expiration date. If your tickets were automatically extended, you'll see a new date below each one. If your tickets expired, they may not show up in your My Disney Experience account anymore, even though they still "exist." Walt Disney World theme park tickets never lose their original value, and when the time is right for you to travel again, simply call the friendly experts at (407) 566-4985; they'll help you modify the ticket dates and pay the difference in price between the expired and new tickets.

    If you purchased an Annual Pass voucher but never exchanged it for a ticket, that voucher is still good, and you'll just need to visit Guest Relations or a ticketing booth to redeem the pass. Another type of voucher offered by the Walt Disney Travel Company is a Magical Extras Card. Since this is included with a vacation package, it is forfeited at the time of a package cancelation, but a new card is available with certain 2022 vacation packages. If you have something I haven't mentioned, I recommend getting in touch with the source of the voucher to verify its validity at this point.
