Can I use my $185 voucher from staying at resort for blue bayou restaurant?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kathy!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks so much for stopping by with your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question! It sounds like your magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is just a few short weeks away - the countdown is on! Kathy, you chose the perfect time to visit because the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort is in full swing! During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to view new nighttime spectaculars like Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park. Enchantment awaits!

Kathy, it sounds like you may have purchased a Disneyland Resort hotel vacation package through a third party like Costco. Great choice! There's nothing like staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel to stay immersed in the magic throughout your entire vacation. As part of your vacation package, you'll receive a Disney Gift Card that can be used at shopping and dining locations throughout the Disneyland Resort theme parks, Disneyland Resort hotels, and Downtown Disney District. Kathy, I'm happy to inform you that you can use your Disney Gift Card at Blue Bayou Restaurant! This popular New Orleans Square dining location is one of my favorites at Disneyland Park. (Don't miss the famous Monte Cristo sandwich and the refillable non-alcoholic mint juleps!)

Speaking of delicious Disney cuisine, did you know that the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be taking place during your visit? I encourage you to check out the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide ahead of your trip to map out your "must-eats" at Festival Marketplaces throughout the theme park!

Kathy, I wanted to let you know about another perk you'll receive as part of your vacation package. Since you'll be staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you'll have access to early theme park entry. That means you can enjoy select attractions 30 minutes before the theme parks open to the public - oh boy! I recommend using this time to ride popular attractions before the wait times increase later in the day.

I hope this information helps you to plan your perfect Disneyland day, Kathy! I'm wishing you a memorable visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. If you happen to have additional planning questions, feel free to drop by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
