Visting WDW for the 1st time in Oct. Staying off property(5 min away). Trying to plan dinner res/character dining & am wondering how much time to allow to travel to park, parking and getting in to restaurant. My girls are 5, 3, 1 at time of travel. T

Hello, Caitlin!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

You are simply going to love visiting Walt Disney World in October!  The sights are BOOtiful and the sounds are SPOOKtacular.  I love this time of year!

I would allow at least an hour to an hour and a half.  You want to ensure that you arrive at your Walt Disney World restaurant at least 15  minutes prior to your reservation time.  Personally, I would lean more towards an hour and a half.  I drive my husband crazy because we do arrive rather early, but I would not want to rush and worry while on vacation.
