Visting Disney World in January, and we've booked 2 table service meals per day (lunch and dinner). We're not planning quick service meals this time. Which dining plan should we get? Or is it better to go without given our reservations?

    HI Marianne,

A January vacation to Walt Disney World Resort sounds exciting. The best way to start off the new year!

We love the Disney Dining Plans. They are so convenient as they let you prepay for your meals and not have to worry about budgets. It is a must for us for every vacation.

Based on your needs, my suggestion is for you go with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. For 2018, each Guest receives three meals and two Snacks per night of stay, and you can choose between Table-Service or Quick-Service meals. You also have access to all your meal entitlements right at Check-In and until midnight of your Check-Out day. Oh, and new next year, Guests 21 and over can choose from alcoholic beverages with their meals too!

Now, this may seem like you will have a lot more meals than needed. However, depending on your arrival and departure times, you may need additional credits. And what about the rest? My suggestion is to book some of your reservations at a Signature Restaurant, like Narcoossee's, or Cinderella's Royal Table.

One last tip: why not combine your meal with a show? Book Rivers of Light Dining Package at Tiffins, or have some fun at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Happy planning!
