We will be visted DW 11-27-10 to 12-6-10. I have heard that Stars Tours in DHS will be closed for renovating, is this for sure? Same with TTF in MK does that mean the Barnstormer will not be in operation? These are 2 of our favorites. Thanks so much.

Jayme, you've picked a great time to visit WDW! The parks will be decorated for Christmas & excitement will fill the air! Star Tours is scheduled to close Sept 8th for an update & isn't scheduled to reopen until sometime in 2011 - no definite reopening date yet. When it reopens it will be an all new 3-D experience with elements from the new movies.

As far as TTF goes, we know that it will close at some point to make way for the Fantasyland Expansion. The good news is that the Barnstormer will still be part of the expansion but may be relocated & renamed. They have not announced the exact date that Toontown will close.

Keep an eye on the updates of the Operational Closings by going to the calendar for each park.  Here are the links for Magic Kingdom & DHS:

    Magic Kingdom
    Disney Hollywood Studios

From there, choose Nov or Dec from the drop down list beside the View Month tab which will give you a list of the hours of operation for each day. To check for scheduled Operational Updates, click on your dates of travel. To the right of the schedule for a particular day, you will see closings if any are scheduled.

You can also check on www.allears.net.  Click on their "Theme Park" Option. Under "General Info" on the left side of the page, click on "Rehabs & Closures". It is an unofficial Disney website but they do an excellent job of giving you the info in one location. You can confirm by clicking on the links on the official WDW links shown above. You are also welcome to check back with me closer to your dates of travel & I'll be happy to give you an update. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
