Hi. If I have visitors at my hotel can they use the transportation to the park?

Hey, there! Hi, there! Ho, there! I'm so glad to see you at planDisney, Patty, where you are as welcome as can be! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort starts tomorrow! You must be so excited to have just one more sleep to go.

With Disney Transportation, Guests of Walt Disney World Resort have many options to get around the parks and resorts without worry. Your highway in the sky, the Monorail will carry you to the resorts around Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon, Magic Kingdom Park and even whisk you off to EPCOT. The Disney Skyliner will have you breezing through the air like Tarzan to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. And there are even buses and boats to carry you between theme parks and resorts.

As a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, your friends are welcome to visit you at your resort. At the gate, they will need to tell the security Cast Member your last name and room number and be prepared to show identification. You may also wish to tell the Cast Members at the front desk, so the people at the security gate will know to expect them. They can park at the resort and enjoy being there with you during the day.

While all Guests are welcome to use Disney transportation to go between the resorts, theme parks, and Disney Springs, parking at the resort hotels is only available for registered guests of the resort and their day guests while enjoying select reservations and experiences. If you are planning for a day at a theme park, they would need to park at that location and meet you at the entrance gates. They cannot park at the resort and leave their car there to visit one of the theme parks.

When I've met friends for a day at the parks, I have had them pick me up at my resort. Even if the car ride is short, time together makes me happy, and it is a bit easier than trying to coordinate arrival times.

I hope you and your friends have a wonderful day and enjoy your time together. Disney vacations are even better when you share them with friends!

If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney. You've got a friend in us!

    Thinking of the Happiest Things!
