When a visitor using an ECV transfers from the ECV to an attraction ride, is there a place where the ECV is placed until the individual completes the ride ?

    Hello, Gary!

Thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel another excellent question! Guests with Mobility Disabilities will find most attractions offer designated areas to park ECV or wheelchairs while Guests experience attractions. Most of the time the loading and unloading areas are the same and the units are steps away from the ride vehicles. For an attraction like Pirates of the Caribbean, where you must transfer to an attraction wheelchair and the loading areas are separate, then a Cast Member will move the wheelchair to the unloading area so it will be waiting for you. There are a few attractions, such as The Haunted Mansion, where the immediate unloading area does not accommodate ECVs, and you may need to walk a short distance to your unit after exiting the ride.

I hope this helps as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please visit us again should you have another question.
