As a visitor to Disney who is not staying at the Polynesian resort. Am I allowed to visit the beach and view fireworks?

Hey Howdy Hey Ramanpreet and welcome to planDisney!

Watching Disney Enchantment from the beach of Disney's Polynesian Resort has got to be my second favorite place to view the firework show aside from being in Magic Kingdom! Such a beautiful resort that has such a peaceful and natural feeling at night and to top it off with the sounds of Enchantment piped in while you watch the show is such a great way to spend the evening! Now, to your question about if you can view it if you are not a Guest staying at the resort, it depends.

So the first and biggest issue you would have is getting there. If you are renting or driving a car and plan on parking in the Polynesian parking lot, you would either have to be staying at the resort or have a dining reservation to do so. So as long as you have either one of those, you can hang around and watch Enchantment from the beach.

Now if you are planning on staying at any other Disney Resort Collection hotel and happen to be taking Disney Resort Transportation, you totally are allowed to do this as well. If you are taking Disney Resort Transportation, you do not need a reservation at the resort to just pop in and spend some time there and even catch the show. With Magic Kingdom just a couple of monorail stops away, it is really easy to get dropped off by bus at Magic Kingdom and then catch either a boat or monorail ride to the Polynesian for an evening of relaxation topped off by the music and show of Enchantment.

No matter if you are staying at a Disney hotel or not, when you visit the Polynesian, I would highly advise you to make a dining reservation at either Kona Cafe or 'Ohana. Both are phenomenal meals and if you do not get filled up on the 'Ohana Bread Pudding, make sure to stop by Pineapple Lani for a Dole Whip while you wait for Enchantment to start. Since you are at the resort after all, after the show, hop on over to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto for a drink and an unforgettable atmosphere!

I love the Polynesian so much I could go on for a while about how to best enjoy the resort at any time of day, so hopefully I gave you some useful information and ways to get the most out of an evening at the resort. Good luck with your final preparations for your upcoming trip and I hope you have a Magical stay! let us know if you have any further questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
