I am visitng WDW this Saturday and I just have a couple of questions regarding parking. I am not staying at one of the resorts at WDW where do I park to get to MK and AK? Do I have to pay for parking? Can you give me some suggestions on where to park?

When you arrive Walt Disney World, follow the signs to the Magic Kingdom. You will find yourselves at at a tollbooth area where Cast Members collect the daily parking fee. It is currently $10 for cars. You will then follow signs and the Cast Members directing traffic to an open parking spot in the Transportation and Ticket Center's parking lot.

Once parked, please write down your parking spot information or better yet, take a picture of your location.

Then proceed to the monorail or ferry boat entrance. Either mode of transportation will whisk you over to the Magic Kingdom.

You only need to pay the parking fee once per day. So if you should leave WDW and re-enter later in the day, please keep track of your receipt and show it at the tollbooth upon your return. Likewise you can show it to the Cast Member at the Animal Kingdom's parking lot if you are going there on the same day as your Magic Kingdom visit.

For the Animal Kingdom, follow signs towards that theme park. Once you reach the Animal Kingdom, you will need to pay the parking fee or show your receipt if you've been to another park already that day.

My best advice is to arrive early!
