Hi Moms! We will be visitng WDW in Feb '09 and staying at WL. My DS is 2 and DD is 6, I know she will not be able to handle all of the walking so we are bring our double stroller. Will the opening for the boat to MK be wide enough for a side by side?

    Hello Jessica!

There are two types of water shuttle boats you may encounter at Fort Wilderness.  The Motor Cruiser is the larger of the two and you should be able to board with your stroller.  This boat can accommodate an ECV so as long as your stroller isn't too much wider than an ECV you should be fine.  There are times, however, when you may be asked to remove the children from the stroller when boarding so be prepared to follow the captain's orders (you'll be able to put the children back in the stroller after boarding).

The second boat is a Motor Launch.  This is a smaller boat and involves a step down into the boat.  For this reason, you will be asked to fold your stroller if you decide to ride on this boat.

The boat is a relaxing way to start your day at Magic Kingdom!
