Hello we are visitng Disneyland in February and we are wondering if we need to make a park reservation for our 1 year old?

    Hi, Kelly!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort with your baby! Exploring the sights and sounds of the parks alongside your little one will be such a magical experience for both of you!

A great perk of bringing children ages 2 and under to the theme parks is that, unlike adults and older children, they don’t need a theme park ticket or a theme park reservation when visiting with an accompanying adult. You won’t have to purchase a ticket and make a reservation for your child until they officially turn 3, but they can still enjoy many attractions, shows, parades and other experiences offered throughout the resort! There are several attractions your baby will be able to ride in the theme parks, and kids under 3 years old also eat for free at all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experiences, including character meals.

I hope this answers your question, Kelly, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little one! Please feel free to write back and ask us more questions as you continue to plan your vacation.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
