Visiting with my 13 year old daughter in 1 month. We are staying at Pixar Palace, curious the easiest way to get to Downtown Disney security? and I've seen online the NEWer security check may be open for hotel guests early entry 645 - 7? Is this true?

Hello, Alberto! Welcome to planDisney! I love when a fellow Washingtonian stops by! A very warm welcome to you.

Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you and your daughter have a special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up and am excited for all the wonder and fun you're about to experience together. These special moments help us realize the reason why we're at Disneyland in the first place, to enjoy each other and make memories together. I love this for you and your kiddo.

Thank you for this great question about how to enter the theme parks during your visit. Since you are staying at the Pixar Place Hotel, you will have access to your very own designated theme park entrance into California Adventure Park, only for Guests staying at this hotel! This special entrance is right across the street from Pixar Place Hotel, and you should see signs directing you through a peaceful pathway. It took me and my son only about five minutes to walk there! Feel free to use this entrance (and exit) anytime during park hours, and especially for Early Entry.

You'll definitely want to take advantage of Early Entry, Alberto, which allows Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests (you!) into one of the two parks each day 30 minutes prior to official park opening. Enjoy super low wait times on your highest priority attractions! Make your park reservations for Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and California Adventure on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, to take advantage of this perk. On California Adventure Park Early Entry days, the special Pixar Place Hotel Guest entrance should open around 7:30am, according to a Cast Member I spoke to. I would plan to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier than that, however, to get in line and through security, so you can take advantage of that glorious Early Entry into the park!

On the days you have park reservations for Disneyland Park, I recommend taking a ride into the park by way of the iconic Disneyland Monorail. Hop aboard at the Monorail Station just a block or so north of Pixar Place Hotel, beginning at 7:30am on Early Entry days. It might be helpful to look at a park map to see the specific location. The Monorail will bring you straight into Tomorrowland and you'll be ready to begin your magical day!

Alberto, you are in for a delightful stay at the Pixar Place Hotel, oh my goodness! My son and I adored the whimsical artistry on our recent visit, and the chance to hear Joe Gardner from "Soul" tickling the ivories in the lobby is a magical moment, for sure.

I hope this information has been helpful for you, Alberto, and you have the most magical time with your daughter. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort, or you'd like me to share some of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical visit, like the "secret" spot next to Sleeping Beauty Castle for that perfect picture, please stop by again anytime.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
