I will be visiting the World in September of this year. I have reservations at 7:35 AM one morning for Chef Mickey's and I am staying at one of the value resorts. Will the buses be running that early so I can take it to the MAgic Kingdom?

    Hi, Tabitha!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a character breakfast at Chef Mickey’s this fall. It provides a bright, fun atmosphere to meet classic friends such as Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy while enjoying an all-you-care-to-eat buffet.

Yes, there should be complimentary bus transportation available to you that morning. The day before your reservation, ask a Cast Members at your resort's Guest Services desk where and when you can board the "breakfast bus” to take you to your early reservation. However, if Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. that day, you can simply board the earliest regular bus at or just before 7:00 a.m.  Then you can either walk or take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

If you happen to miss the first bus to Magic Kingdom Park or want a quicker, more direct mode of transportation, you can also take a taxi from your resort straight to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
I hope this helps, Tabitha, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
