    We are visiting The World May 2012. Our 7yr old Son's 3rd trip & our 2yr old Dauhter's 1st trip. Our Son has Type I Diabetes. Recently I have read some information about a new Disney character named CoCo. She is a monkey with Type I Diabetes. True? Inf

    Hi Amy!

    Coco was announced in June as a new character (specifically with diabetes) in a children's book "Coco and Goofy's Goofy Day."  This is a special partnership with Lilly Diabetes.  Coco has also been featured previously on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Junior. 

    There are currently no character meet-and-greets for Coco, but I think she's a wonderful addition to the Disney family, and I can't wait to see more!
