Visiting the WORLD with a Lucky group of 13 this November. I am trying to figure if adding on the cost of about $200 for a water view at the Coronado Springs resort is worth it knowing we truly won't be in our room much. Any GREAT insight?

I don't know how GREAT my insight is, but it's insight nonetheless.  ;)  Of all the times we've visited Disney I've never paid extra for a water view room and I've never been sorry for making that decision.  My family spends the majority of our vacation time touring the parks and eating at the Disney restaurants.  When we're not doing that we're hanging out at Downtown Disney or riding a surrey bike around the Boardwalk.  To spend more money for a room with a view is just not worth it to us.

I like to think of it this way: with that $200, you could enjoy one more nice dinner, a boat rental at the Contemporary resort marina, or possibly the Cirque du Soleil show at Downtown Disney.  OR, you could look out the window of your resort room and admire the water from afar.  Personally, I'd rather enjoy the water down by Rix Lounge, the festive bar with great seating located right on the edge of Lago Dorado (the15 acre lake at the center of Coronado Springs Resort).

Hope my insight will help you make up your mind!  Good luck with your decision.
