    Hi there - We're visiting the wonders of WDW in Feb 2018 and want to visit one of the waterparks (weather permitting) but I know one always closes for refurbishment - as it was Typhoon Lagoon this year, will it be Blizzard Beach that closes next year?

    Hello Emma,

    You'll be able to visit either of the fabulous Disney water parks! Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will be the one that is refurbished, but the park closes for that on October 30, 2017 and is scheduled to reopen for Guests on January 6, 2018.  Just in time for your visit:)

    Now, if you do go to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, please find the mini donut stand.  That is MY favorite snack at the water park.  Imagine dipping fresh, warm donuts in milk chocolate, white chocolate, or raspberry sauce...YUM...
