Hi! Visiting w/my boyfriend for Christmas. He is extremely allergic to bees. Although this is my 10th visit, I don't remember seeing bees or not. We always travel with his epipen but didn't know if we should bring extras?

    Hi, Wendy!

Except for the (fake!) bees by the honey pot in The Many Adventure of  Winnie the Pooh attraction, I am not sure I have ever seen any bees in Walt Disney World. (And I can say with confidence the bees in Winnie the Pooh attraction will not sting!) However, you will be outside for many hours each day, so plan accordingly.

Always plan with caution and have extra Epi-meds available. Please have your boyfriend speak to his doctor about traveling to Florida for any precautions that should be taken. Each park has a First Aid Center, so locate the Center when entering the park in case it is needed. Since you are making your 10th visit, you are probably already aware of the First Aid Centers, but just wanted to give you a little reminder!

Wishing you a magical TENTH visit! What a milestone for you. Your boyfriend is going to be able to really enjoy Walt Disney World traveling with his very own "House of Mouse" expert! Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
