We will be visiting WL from July 20-30th. Technically, 11 days. I am just wondering since we have a 10 day park hopper ticket, will we be able to go to the parks 10 days and spend one day at Downtown Disney? Should I make DD the last day?

    Hello Suzy,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a beautiful Resort; you must be so excited to call it "home" there for ten days!

In my opinion, the Park Hopper Option is the way to go when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. During my family's many visits, we have loved having the flexibility that a Park Hopper Ticket provides. You can start your day at one Theme Park, head back to your Resort for a nap or pool time, and then end the day at any other Park you wish to. You will definitely want to take breaks from the July heat so I suggest arriving at the Parks very early when the Parks are less crowded and the weather is a bit cooler, taking a break mid-day, and then heading back out in the evening to enjoy the Parks.

There's a lot to see and do in Downtown Disney Area and you'll want to make sure you have plenty of time there to enjoy the Restaurants, shopping, and activities. It would be a great way to end your magical stay!

Please let us know if we can help you with any additional vacation planning questions!
