We are visiting in 2 weeks and my husband is a disabled veteran. Does this qualify for the DAS?

Welcome to planDisney, Caryl!  We are glad you stopped by with your question.

The holiday season brings an extra layer of magic to Walt Disney World Resort!  The parks and resort hotels are decked out in their holiday finest, and there are yummy holiday treats to enjoy.  Make sure to take time to visit the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  I love sampling dishes from the outdoor food booths while enjoying the holiday storytellers who share traditions from all around the world.

Disability Access Service (DAS) is a program to assist Guests who have difficulty waiting in a traditional queue environment due to a disability.  DAS allows users to request a return time for an attraction and then wait in an environment more suitable to their needs.  There is not a definitive list of conditions that do or do not qualify for DAS.  An individual requesting DAS will have a short conversation with a member of the Disability Services team, who will chat with them about their needs and make the determination if DAS is appropriate.  Guests may request DAS in person at Guest Relations in the theme parks or have the option of pre-registering via live video chat.

Caryl, I'm wishing you a wonderful vacation.  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  We are always happy to help.
