Hi Samara. Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question!
The Gran Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is truly magnificent. The dining locations at this resort alone make it worth staying there. From
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood with its delicious food and sweeping views of the
Walt Disney World Resort to
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago with its unique offerings and location, there is just something special about the food that is offered there. I'm so excited for you to experience it all!
Decorating the room doors at the
Disney Resort Collection Hotels is not permitted at this time. While you may see some Guests do so, the management of the resort will likely ask these Guests politely to take them down or do so themselves. However, you usually are permitted to decorate the windows of your resort room but should take care to only use materials that can be easily removed and not cause damage. Kindly check with the front desk to clarify if this would be permitted during your stay and always adhere to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.
Samara, since you're going to the resort during the spookiest time of year, I have a feeling you'll pick up some
Halloween-related merchandise, which when displayed on your resort room's dresser or table can go a long way to making it feel a bit more festive in your room! And there will likely be plenty of autumn decorations around the resort when you are there. This is many people's favorite time to visit the resort, especially because
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is usually running throughout the season at
Magic Kingdom Park. I highly recommend looking into this festive event if it's offered when you are there!
I hope you have a wonderful Halloween visit to the resort. And if you have so much fun that you don't want to leave, just remember that the Ghost Host of the
Haunted Mansion reminds us that there's always room for one more Happy Haunt!
If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out again and I'd be happy to help you have a ghoulishly good time.
Boo to you,
Matt
