Hi there, Christina! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I just spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that if you have a five-day theme park ticket, you would have to add the Park Hopper option to all five days. And actually, if you compare prices, the cost to
purchase a five-day Park Hopper ticket is just $45 more than a five-day one park per day adult ticket and you could park hop every day of your vacation! Furthermore, if you were to purchase a four-day one park per day ticket and a one-day Park Hopper ticket, you would still pay more than if you purchased a five-day Park Hopper ticket.
At the Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are literally right across from each other and it takes less than five minutes to hop between parks. Park Hopper tickets afford you the most flexibility with your touring plans as you have all the fun available to you each day. You can enjoy a meal in one park and then hop over to ride your favorite attraction in the other. Or spend your whole day in one park, but then head to the other park for some
nighttime entertainment. Whenever I visit, I find that I hop between parks nearly every day.
I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort over Thanksgiving is full of magic and memories!
