    Hi! We are visiting the week of Thanksgiving and can no longer purchase the Very Merry Christmas Party at Magical Kingdom as they are sold out. Will there still be parades in the evening even though we can't go to the party.

    Hi Robin! During the busy week of Thanksgiving Disney does not offer the Very Merry Christmas Party. They want to allow as many guests as possible the chance to enjoy the parks so they instead keep later hours.  The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the Sunday after Thanksgiving. When they have the special event party in the park all guests except those with the special event ticket will need to leave and not be able to enjoy the night time parade. It is a special one for the special event party and those guests. Wristbands are given to the party guests as they enter and cast members will ask you to depart at the 7pm time. If you are staying at one of the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake you can catch part of the fireworks show by watching from the beaches of those resorts. You can also enjoy the night time Electric Water Parade on the water.
